Alex Rawson

Alex Rawson

Alex was a camper and long-time staff member.  Camp set the scene for many of the activities he still loves today:  hiking, canoeing, camping, sailing, rock climbing, and singing with friends.  He worked for many years as a professional educator and returned to camp in 2021 with his wife Tess and their three children.  In addition to leading trips and helping with various activities, as a member of Lincoln’s leadership Alex organizes the afternoon program and is the Cub Section head.

Over the past year, the Rawson family embarked on a grand adventure, spending 9 months living on a sail boat, traveling from the southern tip of the Caribbean to the Bahamas.  As Alex tells the tale, it all started when a starry-eyed Cub took his first trip on the Widgeon (a Lincoln sail boat) in 1991.
